The new packaging is certainly eye catching; so you definitely can't or won't miss it on the shelves.
1. Red Clover & Aloe Soothing Shampoo uses organic Red Clover, one of nature’s healing emollients, plus Aloe to soothe and hydrate dry hair and flaky scalp while gently cleansing and detangling hair.
My experience: This shampoo has the same distinct scent as the original CON shampoo. What I liked most about this shampoo was that it lathered very nicely, my hair did not feel stripped, and detangling was a breeze. The last two factors are very important to me especially since I'm in my 5th month of transitioning. Overall, I really really like this shampoo as my hair felt very moisturized after washing.
2. Lemongrass & Rosemary Leave-In Creme Conditioner for Dehydrated Hair This creamy formula quickly softens, detangles, and conditions. Organic Lemongrass adds shine while Rosemary helps protect and strengthen.
My experience: This condish is definitely creamy, upon application it was difficult for me to distinguish if the leave-in accomplished its tasks. However, I noticed the results only after my hair was dried and yes my hair felt super moisturized afterward. I was very pleased to say the least because my hair tends to be extremely dry throughout this transition. I also applied this to my girlfriends hair as well as we both did two strand twists to each others hair Saturday night and it worked really well on her natural hair. She actually called me the following day to find out the exact name of the leave in so that she could purchase it for her own hair.
3. Red Clover Breakage Daily Breakage Relief This can be used before styling and also as a night treatment, and is made with Red Clover and Aloe. Red Cover is one of nature’s emollients helping to reduce breakage, repair split ends and increase hair strength.
My Experience: This might very well be the leader of the pack - in my opinion. I really love this product! I applied this the night after my wash. I applied it from root to tip and then rolled my hair on satin covered sponge rollers. After unrolling my hair was shiny, felt conditioned, was nicely moisturized, and had a nice scent. This is a keeper!
4. Sweet Mandarin & Lemongrass Nourishing Body Lotion - CON has made the transition to skincare.
My Experience: I first got a whiff of this lotion on my husband. Let me explain. So we make ourselves comfortable to make it a Blockbuster night and I'm like "Babe, you smell nice. What are you wearing" and he replies that he used some lotion in an orange bottle that was in the bathroom. Needless, to say the scent is nice, very light and not overpowering at all. I wish it were a bit thicker or creamier but it did absorb really well into my skin so it did live up to its expectations.
Overall - I am very pleased and delighted with the Creme of Nature Love Pack. I didn't expect to have such great results especially on my partially natural & relaxed hair. Dryness during transition can be a beast and the products definitely tamed my mane something wonderful. I definitely plan to purchase the shampoo & breakage treatment in the future. My naturally kinky textured friend has since purchased the leave-in creme and I'm sure the hubby will be using the lotion again if its within his reach. :-)
