American Music Awards
Did yall watch the American Music Awards last night? I did! What did you think? Overall, I think the show was good - there was definitely a nice mix of performers. Some of the performances were lackluster to say the least. My favorites however were, Jay Z & Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige (loved her!!), the Black Eyed Peas, and Timbaland ft Nelly Furtado. For those MJB fans out there - check out her performance, it was fab!
Was there any performance that stood out to you? Do tell! For me, it was J. Lo - she fell mid performance but she saved herself beautifully.

Thoroughly Clean Face Wash by Dessert Essence
Hi there! So a few weeks ago I ran out of my handy dandy Aveeno facial cleanser and instead of repurchasing it, I instead purchased Thoroughly Clean Face Wash, while at Trader Joe's. At the time, I figured I would try something new, being the product enthusiast that I am. :-) Anywho, so I've been using it for about a week or so now and honestly my face looks a bit blah not bright and glowing like when I use my Aveeno. The good thing about it though is that it's all natural and has some great ingredients, like tea tree oil - that cleanses the skin without it feeling dry. However, this product is just not doing it for me. I'll continue using it for another week or so and see if anything miraculous happens. If not, I'll go back to my trusty Aveeno scrub. Have you tried this cleanser?
Update: 12/03/09 - I've been using this in conjunction with my Aveeno cleanser. I've realized this face wash leaves my face feeling cleansed but a tad bit dry but it does its job. I will continue to use it and will most likely repurchase.

The Oprah Show is coming to an end
The Queen of Daytime television, Oprah Winfrey has announced that come Sept 9, 2011, her talk show will come to an end. After 25 years on television, Oprah will put down her torch. It's sad to see Oprah leave the show, but the Oprah Winfrey brand will continue to live on, with her magazine, the Oprah Winfrey Network, etc, I'm sure we'll still see much of Ms. Winfrey. How do you feel about the Oprah Winfrey show coming to an end?

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom
Did you tune in last night to watch the 2 hour premiere of Khloe & Lamar's wedding on E!? I did! I love watching the Kardashians, it is pure drama and entertainment. I was a bit heartbroken for Bruce, their step dad who was out of the loop on the whole wedding. Despite, all the negative commentary regarding Khloe & Lamar's fast wedding - I wish them the best!
