Beauty Company Spotlight : Salerm Cosmetics
When I lived in the tri-state area I used to frequent Dominican hair salons on a weekly basis. One of the most popular product lines that was used on my hair was Salerm Cosmetics, it's a beauty and cosmetics company based in Barcelona, Spain. I can honestly say their products are very reliable and work wonders. One of my favorite products from this company is their wheat germ conditioning treatment for dry hair or as they call it Mascarila capilar al germen de trigo. It is specially formulated with wheat germ to nourish and mosturize dry or brittle hair. I was so surprised to reunite with this hair conditioning treatment at a local beauty supply here down South and I take it with me whenever I go get my hair done. Have you tried Salerm products? Recently I was at Bath and Body Works shopping for a birthday gift for someone when I noticed a few things like: new packaging and new fragrances. I started testing some of the fragrances from their Signature Collection and was drawn to Black Amethyst.

Black Hair - 'Oprah Winfrey' Video
There is such a fascination with Black hair these days - from Tyra Banks, to Oprah, and Chris Rock with his new movie - GOOD HAIR. It amazes me however, that if a Black woman has long hair that it's presumed to be a weave. Black hair does grow and can grow long and luxurious as other races - so please don't believe the hype. Check out this video with Oprah and Chris Rock...it is pretty funny how Chris is so amazed that Oprah's hair is all hers.
